This is a mailing list is predominately for the murids of Sheikh Nuh Keller who reside in the Vancouver Lower Mainland Area -- murids from other areas may also join this list at the discretion of the moderator(s)/majlis host.
The purpose of the list is to announce and coordinate our Latifiyyah gathering and all other gatherings in our area under the auspices of Sheikh Nuh Keller.
This is not a discussion forum, nor a message board for announcements of a general nature, nor a venue for forwarded links of general interest, however beneficial they may be.
The focus of this list is to facilitate the communal aspects of suluk (spiritual wayfaring) according to the precepts of the Shadhili Path as they have been expounded by Sheikh Nuh Keller to his murids. These can include:
- Communications between the sahib al-majlis and the local murids of Sheikh Nuh Keller specifically.
- Messages pertaining to logistical details regarding any of our local gatherings under the auspices of Sheikh Nuh Keller.
- Announcements pertaining to the recorded teachings and written works of Sheikh Nuh Keller
- Links to articles or other works (in print or digital) specifically mentioned by Sheikh Nuh Keller or his authorized muqaddims during mudhakara lessons.
- Requests for du'a from group members
This list is NOT moderated so please ensure your content adheres to the above guidelines before posting.
