This is a mutual aid group for Precinct 2 in Easthampton, Massachusetts.If you are in immediate danger or need emergency support please call 911. This group is a neighborhood mutual aid group and is not intended to be a substitution for emergency services.

Purposes of our P2 Mutual Aid group:
1. Information share! Each week, volunteers will send everyone a list of Easthampton resources. If you have a resource to share, please email it to us at easthampton2solidarity@gmail.com and we'll add it!
2. Introduce ourselves! If you feel comfortable, you're welcome to send a message to the group at P2MutualAid@groups.io introducing yourself. Use the hashtag #NEIGHBOR in the subject line.
3. Offering or asking for support! Please ensure the subject of your email indicates your need/offer by following this structure:
#OFFER: Toilet paper (or whatever is on offer)
#NEED: Help getting groceries (or whatever you need help with).
- Complete the body of your email with any relevant information, including your preference for response (i.e. "please text me if you can help" or "please reply to this email thread if you can help.").
- Once your #NEED has been met: please make sure to reply to the original email you sent and let people know!
- Not getting a response fast enough? If you do not hear from someone in a window that you deem appropriate, place a request on Easthampton Mutual Aid Facebook page or the Western Massachusetts Community Mutual Aid website. Reminder: Please make sure to let this group know if your need has been met.
For emails related to general organizing or communication please use the subject #ORGANIZING.
For direct messages to Precinct 2 organizers, you can always email easthampton2solidarity@gmail.com.
