This is a mutual aid group for Precinct 1 (and friends at the intersections of precincts) in Easthampton, Massachusetts.
If you are in immediate danger or need emergency support please call 911. This group is a neighborhood mutual aid group and is not intended to be a substitution for emergency services.

Please use this forum to make offers to your neighbors, and ask for support. Please ensure the subject of your email indicates your need/offer by following this structure:
#OFFER: Toilet paper (or whatever is on offer)
#NEED: Help getting groceries (or whatever you need help with).
Complete the body of your email with any relevant information, including your preference for response (i.e. "please text me if you can help" or "please reply to this email thread if you can help.").
Once your #NEED has been met: please make sure to reply to the original email you sent and let people know!
Not getting a response fast enough? If you do not hear from someone in a window that you deem appropriate, place a request on the Western Massachusetts Community Mutual Aid website. Reminder: Please make sure to let this group know if your need has been met.
When you join, please send a message to the group introducing yourself. Share a photo of yourself if you feel comfortable! Use the hashtag #NEIGHBOR.
We will improve our communication system as we go–any and all suggestions or offers of help at the group level are welcome. :)
