This a safe place to share their ideas and experiences with other Mensan atheists/skeptics and to pursue the intellectual discourse of thinking, pondering and living our lives as an atheist/skeptic in a society that is predominantly theist, religioust, and supernaturally-belief based.

Moderation of group members' content is generally hands off, unless it is abusive, violates civil decorum, or non-sardonically intends to proselytize. There is no discrimination or preference applied here to posting of content of or relating to either political orientation or affiliation, social stances, lifestyles, race, gender, creed;

we abhor censorship, and invite all views to be discussed that are made in good-faith, even if vehement, passionate or in disagreement.

Obversely, ad hominems and trolling are discouraged.

Unless invited, generally new members will have their first messages moderated, due to the urge by believers to proselytize. Once you post and we see that you're an actual non-believer, the moderating will be removed and you will be free to post at will.
