West Area Networking westareanetworking@groups.io
The West Area Network is one of four area-based Networks across Brighton and Hove. We are open to all organisations who support people living in the West of the City, and new members are always welcome. Our current membership includes community groups, the voluntary sector, Brighton and Hove City Council and many other groups and organisations. We meet regularly to build relationships, knowledge and understanding between us to improve the quality of lives of the communities we work with.
Each session has a different theme, based on local Neighbourhood Action Plans and further themes that come from these networking meetings, so we invite you to please attend as many sessions as possible. The sessions are a chance to share your latest news, meet people who are working in the area and work in collaboration to support your projects and services. They are area-focused so that partnerships and collaborations are bespoke to the community need.
The sessions are hosted by The Hangleton and Knoll Project (HKP), in partnership with the Trust for Developing Communities (TDC) and Brighton and Hove City Council. Our sessions alternate between Zoom and face-to-face meetings. Details of each session are sent out via a mailing list group. You are welcome to join the mailings lists for all four areas (see below) or just this one.
