Welcome to the Tri-Cities Amateur Radio Club. We are an Amateur Radio Organization, located in Kennewick, Pasco, Richland in Washington State, promoting the amateur radio hobby,

providing training and support to members,

hands-on activities building antennas, a HAM shack to get familiar with radio functions and procedures, etc.

providing communications support to emergency organizations and other civil groups and events needing communications support.

Besides this Groups.io Group, we offer a website ( http://www.w7az.org ), a Facebook account and we are on QRZ.com under W7AZ. We hold monthly in-person meetings or on ZOOM (when COVID-19 rules are in effect). The in-person meetings are held at the American Red Cross building at 7202 West Deschutes Ave., Kennewick, WA at 7:00 PM local time.
We usually have a business meeting, which is followed by a presentation or a hands-on workshop. The monthly topic and other club conversation will be mainly conveyed via groups.io, but also our daily morning net, our web site and the Facebook account.

By joining, the applicant agrees to abide by the rules set by the group moderators and owners.

Teenagers under the age of 18 years need parental (or guardian) approval to join our groups.io. Children under 13 years of age are prohibited from opening a groups.io account.

In order to join, you just need a valid email address and create a password for you.

NOTE: If you already have one or more existing groups.io accounts, use the same password for your W7AZ account. After you log in, you can choose your specific groups.io account from a pulldown list under “Your Groups”.

Spam, racism, name-calling, vulgarity, religious or political propaganda, personal insults and/or verbal abuse will not be tolerated in this group at any time. Any member posting such material will be placed on moderated status, and is subject to deletion and banning.

1.  Make sure you make the “Subject” line match your message.

If your message is not about what the Subject line says, please change the subject line to

match your topic.

2. The “subject” line is extremely helpful for searching older messages.
