Based in The Republic of Ireland, TalkDeTalk Access for the blind and visually-impaired is a communications and chat group
of which Everybody is very welcome to subscribe to and contribute, blind and sighted alike.
The group is primarily for disseminating and chatting about all aspects of communication between Ireland and the UK. The areas of discussion and posts should deal in welfare and health matters, entertainment, books and life in general are examples of the areas which are particularly welcome and could be discussed. Politics too in a general sense can be chatted about who but sensitively of course.
We welcome interesting articles/items on any of the above subjects so feel free to post and if in doubt send us a note and we'll happily advise.
We also welcome anyone who wishes to discuss anything such as social activities like holidays and the like respecting privacy at all times of course.
Finally a reminder to help keep our space respectful and welcoming for all.
This instruction helps to ensure and prevent misunderstanding and keeps the tone of our group positive.
We know this may seem obvious, but it’s worth repeating. Let’s continue to treat each other with courtesy and respect at all times.
