This group is for discussions by members of a private sailing group. Need crew for a daysail? Have a question you want to run by other members? This is the place.

 This is not an official forum nor is it in any way otherwise affiliated with, sponsored, or endorsed by an any sailing group or association. 

Group Rules

This group is moderated as the primary goal is to keep it positive, basically to allow members to share ideas with other members. By "positive" we mean:
  1. Suggestion: To keep the messages relevant to all, consider whether a direct reply/message to a member may be better than posting to the whole group.
  2. No name calling, treat everyone with respect.
  3. No politics, religion, jokes/memes at the expense of others, hate speech (racism, gender-phobia, etc), offensive comments.
  4. No oddly specific posts about anonymous people/situations that clearly identify them.
  5. No confidential information of regarding access to buildings/boats (gate codes, keys, etc) or people (doxing).
  6. Posts should be relevant to sailing
  7. No advertisements or personal promotion
  8. No detailed rules or policy discussions, these should be done off of the forum.
Please be aware, messages that don't meet the above guidelines will not be approved. Multiple failures to follow posting guidelines may result in a suspension or ban.  When disciplinary action is required multiple moderators will confer about appropriate actions and speak directly to the parties involved (voice or in person)
