This is a group of folks who have an interest in amateur (ham) radio.  We are here to discuss any questions or challenges you may run into with your pursuit of fun with ham radio.  Topics can be just about anything from digging a hole (for the foundation of your tower) to asking why your generator won't start (so that you can operate when the grid goes down).

That opens up the group for potential chaos but, we won't allow chaos, the moderators will take a dim view of members who stray way off course or send spam messages.

This is a repurposed group, it was started on July 8, 2024.  The original group was started on August 7 of 2015.  That is why you will see the start date on this page as being in 2015.  We did that to save the features of an old free group that are no longer available for new free groups.

Please, if you know an answer to any question asked or have more information about a topic being discussed, let us hear from you.  It seems that while lurkers are welcome, if they do not participate, they do the group absolutely no good.
