- The image sensor is configured to output raw 12-bit data.
- Binning 1x1, 2x2, 3x3 and 4x4 is supported in the camera, after read-out of the frame from the sensor.

- Passive cooling via the enclosure
- Exposure times
- For the IMX174: 14ms to 10s without gaps, 1 to 14ms with gaps. High-speed mode (reduced height) with 500 fps
- Digital Timestamp
- The timestamp includes start and end date and time of the exposure (1ms precision), information on received satellites, on the camera configuration
- Firmware
- Firmware can be updated via USB connection
- Failsafe firmware update mechanism
