This is a group for helping to facilitate 18XX and other train gaming in the Ann Arbor and Detroit metro area(s). I've noticed that there are a few existing players in the area who already meet somewhat regularly, as well as many who are interested in the genre. Some may play train games exclusively, while others may have other regular gaming groups who have different tastes in games. After getting to play with some groups that are able to focus specifically on train games, I'd like to start something similar in our area.
The group will mainly be used for organizing a regular series of games at various times and locations so that people can plan ahead and work out the times that work best for them. Hopefully, we'll get to a point where we can start to have multiple games going at once, as well as exploring weeknight events.
